Anthony Martin Reading PA Obituary, Death – Beloved son and partner has died

Anthony R. Martin, 36, of Muhlenberg Township, PA, passed away unexpectedly on April 9th, 2025, at Reading Hospital. His death has left his family, friends, and community devastated, but his life will be celebrated by those who knew him and loved him.

Born in Reading, PA, Anthony was the son of Donna (Kobige) Martin and the late Melvin L. Martin Sr. Growing up in the area, he was a proud graduate of Reading High School, where he was an accomplished athlete on the wrestling team. Anthony’s competitive spirit, honed through years of wrestling, stayed with him throughout his life and translated into his work ethic and dedication to his family.

As a crane operator at Car Tech in Reading, Anthony was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his job. His career was a reflection of his character – hardworking, dependable, and always willing to go the extra mile. Before his time at Car Tech, Anthony had been employed with Roofers Union Local #30, where he had also earned the respect of his peers and supervisors for his skills and work ethic.

However, it was his role as a father that brought Anthony the greatest joy. He was deeply devoted to his two sons, Andre and Roman, and his love for them was evident in everything he did. Whether it was spending time with them at the gym, playing video games, or just enjoying family moments at home, Anthony cherished his time as a father. His unique laugh and sense of humor were a source of lightheartedness for his family, and his ability to find joy in the simple things was something those closest to him will always remember.

Anthony is survived by his fiancée, Breanne Hepner, his mother Donna, his sons Andre and Roman, and his siblings Adara Adams, Felicia Caraballo, Melvin L. Martin Jr., Bernadette Nelson, Vanessa Martin, Tracey Rolon, Darnell Martin, Derek Martin, and Erika Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will miss his loving presence.

A viewing will be held at Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. in Reading, PA, on Friday, April 18th, from 5 to 8 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 7 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Anthony’s life and legacy.
